Guitar Hero Projects

I have long been a fan of music-based video games, and recently I have been heavily involved in the Guitar Hero customs scene --- a group of folks dedicated to customizing the Guitar Hero game and adding new songs, graphics, etc. I wrote three utilities for Guitar Hero, mostly for the older PlayStation2 system (which is a much easier platform to hack than the newer platforms). I'm not actively working on any of these projects anymore, but all of them are in a usable state.
Ark Expander (2007)
A utility to expand and create ARK files (the tar-like format of early Guitar Hero games).

Guitar Wizard (2007)
A full-featured utility for making custom Guitar Hero discs (GH1 and GH2). Includes song replacement functions.

Music Game Jukebox (2009)
A music player that will read your PlayStation2 music game discs (many games supported), and play the songs from it. Additionally, you can adjust the volume for each track separately.
